Lazy days in Burscough

The last couple of weeks we’ve lazed around Burscough as it was handy to get to Tarleton Community Primary (TCP) Schools concerts.

Edmund and Josh were up for a long weekend to attend Lancashire Last Choir Standing finals in Blackburn the weekend before last. It was starring Nikita with her TCP school choir, they came 3rd out of the 11 finalists.

The same weekend we had our usual boat full for the Burscough Heritage weekend with 11 of us to cater for. The last time we attended the Heritage weekend was 3 years ago when it was the Leeds & Liverpool bicentenary, if I remember correctly is was a much larger affair than this year and the weather was gorgeous unlike previously when it poured. The annual raft race took place on the Sunday which was entertaining and we all had a picnic on the tow path to cheer the rafts on and honk the hooter.

Last evening we were at TCP school for their summer concert.
